How can we shift the appeal towards the fundraising sector? There is no black and white answer really, but there is a light at the end of the tunnel.

The charity sector is starting to face the challenge of attracting and retaining new leadership. Who should this sector be attracting? The millennials do not sound like a bad start. The problem is retention. Turnover rates for this cohort are rather high in the charity and fundraising sector, particularly at the non-director level. The issue being that we need those in non-director roles to eventually grow into the director roles. It is difficult to develop skills, if turnover in the entry to mid-level roles are so high.
